These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Covra Chrome extension and covra.tools website ("Service"), operated by Covra ("we", "us", or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Covra is an AI-powered Chrome extension that automatically generates cover letters for job applications based on your uploaded resume and the job posting you are applying to. Cover letters are generated using third-party AI technology (Anthropic's Claude API).

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Covra. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Account and Authentication

Covra uses Google OAuth for authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized access to your account.

Cover letters generated by Covra are produced by artificial intelligence. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and submitting any cover letter generated by the Service. We do not guarantee the accuracy, suitability, or effectiveness of any generated content. We strongly recommend reviewing and personalizing all generated cover letters before submission.

7. Intellectual Property

The Covra name, logo, and all software comprising the extension are the intellectual property of Covra. Cover letters generated by the Service using your resume data are yours to use as you see fit.

8. Third-Party Services

Covra integrates with third-party services including Anthropic, Supabase, Stripe, and Google. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that cover letters generated will result in job interviews or offers.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Covra shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, United States.
